Since the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning model’s debut and the adjustments in the 2023 F-150 Lightning, the Ford Motor Company continues to make changes. There are five trim levels, including the Lightning Platinum® and Lightning PRO. Between the F-150’s Lightning XLT and Lariat trim levels, they’re offering a tech-focused Flash trim level. There’s also a Platinum Black special edition with styling features like 22-inch dark wheels and a dark grille.

Equipped with eleven different power outlets, the Lightning is easy to plug into any type of charging station. The Pro Power Onboard system allows you to use stored electricity as a power source and comes standard with the extended-range battery and optional with the standard battery. Plus, you’ll never run out of cargo space with the Lightning’s 14.1 cu-ft mega power frunk space that can hold up to 400-lbs of material.

The 2024 Ford F 150 Lightning Range and Performance

All-wheel-drive is standard on every F-150 Lightning trim level along with its standard two electric motors and 98-kwh battery pack. The Lightning’s engine combines for 462 hp and up to 320 miles EPA-estimated range, while the extended-range battery generates 580-hp and 775 lb-ft of torque. And, the Lightning Platinum trim goes from 0 to 60 in under four seconds.

Both the F-150 Lightning Pro and XLT trims come with the standard-range battery. But, the Flash model automatically includes the extended-range battery pack. With the Flash trim, the Ford Blue Cruise hands-free driving system is also standard.

An abundance of nice technology features come standard on the F 150 Lightning. You’ll enjoy Ford Power-Up software updates, FordPass ConnectTM with remote lock and unlock, vehicle status check, and more. All Lightning models include Safety Canopy® side curtains, front driver and passenger airbags along with seat-mounted side and knee airbags for the driver and passenger seats. Four-wheel-drive with anti-lock brakes and AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability ControlTM also come standard on the F 150 Lightning models. Plus, the standard tire pressure monitoring system and SOS Post-Crash Alert SystemTM will keep you even safer on the road.
